Well we’ve finally made it through winter!
This winter has been a very different winter for me compared to all previous.  Before signing up to the Lose Baby Weight 28 Day Challenges I never exercised. Ever. At all!
In the months prior to last winter I had lost 10kg’s by just learning to eat healthier then winter came and I got cold, tired and lazy and lost all focus and put back on most of that 10kg’s, mostly because I had no idea about portion sizes or how many calories I should be consuming in a day so I over ate.
I came across Lose Baby Weight in December 14 and since starting I have lost over 20 kg’s and lost nearly 5kg’s during winter!!! This is a massive achievement for me as I didn’t just sit around and be lazy in the cold I used the motivation from the Lose Baby Weight support group and challenges to be active and motivated.

The smoothies I always have for breakfast now as they are such a great energy booster to start the day and it stops me from skipping breakfast and snacking on junk throughout the day.

A few things that keep me focused are:

  • Set small achievable goals e.g. Lose 5kg’s
  • Reward yourself once goals are reached, they don’t have to be expensive!
  • Drink lots of water!!
  • Put yourself first!!
  • Pamper days: I give myself a facial or body scrub to make myself feel nice
  • Exercise with friends or a fitness group to keep motivation up!

I am so ecstatic to have lost weight this winter and it was almost the same amount of weight that I actually gained last winter! I couldn’t be more proud of myself for doing so!
