Hi I’m Chelona, a work for home mum of 3 ages 9,3 & 1.5 and have been using Lose Baby Weight for the past 12 months and I have lost 20kg.

As a motivating mum I have loved encouraging others and feel it has given me the extra push to get to my goal.
This month not only marked my 1 year anniversary with Lose Baby Weight but has marked a massive achievement in hitting 20kg lost and to say it was an overwhelming emotional experience to see those numbers on the scales is an absolute understatement.
I gained most of my baby weight while breastfeeding my daughter and was 20kg heavier 9months after having her than the day I bought her home, meaning I am now at my post birth weight with 10kg to go until pre baby weight..
People would always say “just keep feeding the weight will come off” this was not the case for me or many other feeding mums out there and can be extremely unhelpful.
I only wish that someone would have told me each breastfeeding experience is as different as every birth and that I didn’t have to be a hungry emotional mess  that inhaled everything insight.

Breastfeeding takes a toll on your body and finding the balance of good foods and consuming enough calories to have a good flow and keep yourself and baby satisfied can be tough.
The day I found Lose Baby Weight online and started reading about nutrition and the need to fuel my body correctly to care for myself and baby was like a firecracker going off and it all made sense.
My family and friends where very critical of me going on a “DIET” while breastfeeding until they saw for themselves not only the success I have had but the food that I eat and the thriving content baby that although is now no longer breastfed was breastfed until she self weaned at 14 months old.
I still hear people say to breastfeeding mums “it’s ok just keep feeding and the weight will drop off” I now know this is not the case for every woman and there is a way to find a great balance of breastfeeding and losing weight that is healthy and safe for both Mum and Bub.
