Today we have a healthy alternative to a chocolate sundae that you can enjoy guilt free while following a healthy eating plan.
This sundae is sweetened by banana, a naturally sweet fruit that is also packed full of vitamins.
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/4 avocado
- 1tbsp cacao
Crunch Topping
- 1tbsp rolled oats
- 6 natural almonds
- 1/2 tsp honey
- Greek/Natural yoghurt (optional)
Method
- To make the sundae, process the banana, avocado and cacao until nice and creamy.
- Put in a glass and put in the freezer while you make the crunch topping
- Place all of the crunch topping ingredients in a food processor and process until finely crumbled
- Get your sundae out of the freezer and add a dollop of Greek/Natural yoghurt on top (optional)
- Then layer crunch topping over the top
Serves 1
300 calories per serve
