These little bites taste just like an apple pie but guilt free and they will not throw you off your healthy eating plan.
They are refined sugar free and dairy free making them a perfect treat for school lunchboxes, a quick snack on the run and will be enjoyed by the whole family.

  • 250gm dried pitted dates
  • 140gms dried apple
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Coconut for rolling- optional

  • Cover the dried dates with boiling water and let sit for 45mins
  •  Drain the dates and place all ingredients in a blender/food processor and mix until well combined
  •  If the mixture isn’t combining add a bit of water at a time making sure not to add to much as the mixture will become too wet
  •  The apple will still be lumpy which is what you want
  •  With wet hands roll the mixture into 22 balls and roll in the coconut (optional)
  •  Place in the fridge to set
  • They can also be frozen and then defrost in the fridge as needed
