Hey Guys!
My name is Cat, I have lost 30kg and I’m a Mum of 2 (3 if you count hubby- aged 7 & 3) and I am one of the Maintenance Mums for July. I am so very excited to share some of the tips and tricks I have learnt on my Lose Baby Weight journey with you this month.
At my heaviest I weighed in at 105kgs (size 18) back in 2009 after the birth of my first baby. I was a stay at home, young mum who literally just ate junk all day, every day.
After cracking into the triple digits I knew something had to change, I had a baby to look after and I needed to be a positive, healthy role model for her.
I began googling “Lose Baby Weight” looking for a quick fix- a pill, a drink, anything, but what I found really has changed my life. I read the testimonials on the Lose Baby Weight website, bought myself a tub of Vanilla smoothie mix and the 28 day plan recipe book; from there the weight began to melt away.
Over 6 years, with the birth of my son in the middle I have now lost over 30kgs using the Lose Baby Weight plans and products.
I’ve been fortunate to have also gained a career in health and fitness and now I am in the position of helping other women, especially other Mums, on their health and fitness journeys.
I’m currently teaching 5 group fitness classes per week which looks after a lot of my cardio needs as well as ensuring I do move at some point during the week. I love using the challenge exercises to incorporate some extra strength training into my schedule.
My ultimate goal was to, and still is to hit 70kgs and maintain there, although I have been hovering around 72.4-72.9kgs over the past few months. My body hasn’t stopped changing though; I continue to shrink and tone and am generally wearing a size 10- the smallest I have been in my adult life.
I am an active challenge member and credit the ongoing online support both in the challenge hub and on social media as well as the new and developing Healthy Mummy recipes to my maintenance success so far. Without those tools I definitely would have lost interest and gone back to my old ways.
Maintaining weight loss long is definitely possible and I hope through July I will be able to help motivate and inspire you, wherever you are on your journey.
