Hi ladies, I have lost 18kgs* with Lose Baby Weight and am one of you 100 days to summer motivating mums.

The past week I have had the whole shebang, head cold, aches, temps the cough, everything.
So you know what I’ve done, nothing. That’s right absolutely nothing. I for once have listened to my body and rested.
I’m far from happy with not being able to exercise, but sometimes you just have to take a load off.
It’s not an excuse or a way to get out of it its listening to your body and resting when needing to. If I had have pushed on and kept going I would’ve taken longer to recover and therefore thrown out my training regime even longer.
This Lose Baby Weight lifestyle though is a real testament to just how important food choices are, especially when there isn’t much activity being done.
I have had a smoothie for breakfast and one for lunch and had my usual snacks of nuts or pretzels or yoghurt and berries and kept on top of my water intake and that in itself has made me feel a little better.smoothie sampler
I guess the moral of the story in this blog is, that even when there are times when exercise is minimal or non existent, keeping your food on track is so important and key to maintaining your weight.
On another note, was my struggle recently with the scales starting to creep up ever so slightly.
I know it’s not from poor food choices, so I’m thinking it’s from weight training and toning.
Regardless what it is from, it does mess with your head and makes you second guess your progress.
Remember the number on the scale is just that, a number! It doesn’t mean anything.
This is something that I’ve had to remind myself of a lot lately.
Try to remember its more about how you feel, how you look and how your clothes feel.
Plus I’m not in it for skinny, I’m in it for Fit, Strong and healthty!
