Hello healthy mummies. My name is Krystal, I’m a June motivating mum. I’ve been following lose baby weight and using the healthy mummy products since June 2014, 4 weeks after my 4th baby was born and I have lose 25kg with Lose Baby Weight.
Heading into my 1 year Anniversary with Lose Baby Weight and the healthy mummy products this month is super special for me. I reached my goal in January 2015 and to date I’ve lost 25kg and maintained the loss.
I stared using recipes from the website and have been following the 28 Day weight loss challenge meal plans and exercises since July 2014. I’m all set and ready for the June winter 28 Day weight loss challenge to kick off a few more of these kilos that won’t budge.
I’m ready to motivate encourage and inspire all who read my blog and my posts on the private group.
My weekly exercise plan started off with just walking and doing challenge exercises then I got into running which I’ve slacked off on lately so plan to get back into it!
I now do a Monday gym class, Tuesday mums and bubs class, Wednesday pole dancing lesson, Friday swimming and daily challenge exercises on top of that. My weekends are for family but we still stay active by horse riding, bike riding, walks with the dogs, general housework, playing netball, gardening etc.
Incidental exercise is a fantastic way to keep up with things around the house and still get a bit of a workout add some squats and lunges as you go!
Be active as much as you can and you’ll feel so much better for it.
Sleep? What’s Sleep? I understand how hard it can be to get motivated when you’ve had little to no sleep, even now my bubs doesn’t sleep the best. If you can get outside, go for a walk and breathe in some fresh air. You’ll feel soooooo much better for it and over time your body will adjust and start to crave the need to work out and be physical. Sitting around doing nothing can be very tiring.
The challenges have come a long way over the past 12 months and the new month by month challenges are an awesome idea as I sometimes felt a little lost on the in between months.
The new customised plans are so easy to use, changing meals to suit my whole family or just me depending on which day of the week and which meal it is.
Also being able to add my smoothies into my meal plan then it automatically calculating my total calorie makes light work for me. Just add my extra calories for breastfeeding by adding some avocado or dates to my smoothies, putting some nuts on my salad for lunch, eating an extra snack or adding some rice etc to my main meal.
I know a lot of mums breastfeed and are concerned about their weight loss journey while breastfeeding. I am still breastfeeding my baby who’s not long turned 1 and still going strong, she still feeds often and I’ve never had a problem with my supply or her weight gain.
She’s not the best sleeper still so I’m grateful for the convenience of the healthy mummy smoothies especially on those mornings I’ve slept in or am walking around still asleep lol.
I eat by the clock everyday so I don’t forget meals or graze all day and end up eating more then I should. A typical day for me is as follows.
- 7am Lemon water
- 7:30am Breakfast
- 10:30am Snack
- 12:30pm Lunch
- 2:30pm Snack
- 6pm Dinner
- 8pm Snack
If your just starting your journey and don’t know where to start I highly recommend the 28 day weight loss challenge and joining the Facebook support group to get ideas inspiration and loads of support.
Can’t means you haven’t tried hard enough! Believe in yourself, push past your limits and you will find you CAN!!!
Krystal xx
