My name is Kellie I’m 27 and I have 2 beautiful children, my daughter who is 8 and my son who is now 13 months. I am lucky enough to have been chosen to be one of your Motivating mums for January.
I have always been up and down with my weight and really struggled with my health as I have type 1 Diabetes amongst other health issues.

Being on the go all the time with a busy life and looking after the family means I don’t miss out on breakfast anymore because in 5 minutes I’ve mixed up a Healthy Mummy smoothie and I have everyone out the door ready to start the day.
The shakes and challenges have really helped me to stabilize my diabetes and overall health.
I decided to join the Lose Baby Weight 28 day challenges in March 2015 after following the facebook page and using the free recipes for a few weeks before, seeing how supportive everyone was and how yummy the recipes were I thought I would give it a go.
I am so glad I made that choice it was the best thing I did because Lose Baby Weight has given me a new chance at life.
My journey has been a real battle with the scales as instead of watching the numbers go down I have now in total actually gained 5kgs bringing my weight up to 110kgs, gaining muscle and lots of strength I never had before, but I have gone down in dress sizes to fit 16/14’s from wearing a size 18/20 when I first started Lbw.
I have stepped out of my comfort zone so many times and now get to experience new things, living life to its fullest. Going out and playing with my children at the park, joining a bootcamp and gym to even having the best fun doing something crazy like playing Bubble soccer.
Everything I would of shied away from and missed out on before I grew the confidence and energy I have now with thanks to this incredible program.
I love being able to tell everyone how eating healthy doesn’t mean you need to eat boring foods or miss out on all the things you love, I am guilty of having a bad sweet tooth and one of the best things about the challenges that I love is all of the amazingly delicious recipes there are for deserts and snacks that I get to eat all the time and not feel guilty about having and worrying about undoing all of my hard work.
Everything is family friendly too, my partner has lost 15kgs just from eating the same yummy dinners and snacks, just need to get him into exercising with me too hahaha.
Meals can be customized to suit the whole family and I’ve learnt to choose foods that are better for all of us, going through high school not being fit and healthy I know how hard it can be and it was the last thing I wanted for my children to go through.
I don’t need to worry so much about that now because I can use all of the good things Lose Baby Weight has taught me to teach my beautiful babies to live a happy healthy life.

My life has completely changed for the better since I found this group, joined the 28 day challenges and started drinking the Healthy Mummy Shakes and although my weight loss isn’t as fast as others or the scales won’t go down, slow and steady wins the race and I will get to my ideal goal eventually.
As for now every day is fun and interesting with lots of new yummy foods, exciting challenges for myself and exercises that push me.
I hope to be able to motivate you and continue to be motivated by you all in my role as one of your motivating mums. I can’t wait to see what January brings us all and am super excited to start the 28 day Belly Buster Challenge.
