Hi Lovely Mummies,
My name is Katrina. Im 25, a wife and a mum of a beautiful little boy and step mum of a beautiful little girl. My journey with The Healthy Mummy started when my son was first born in 2012 when I weighed in at 95kgs. It was the heaviest I have ever been in my life and I could barely walk after an emergency c section and all the weight I was carrying made me super miserable.
I was on Facebook and saw The healthy Mummy page and decided, “Hey what so I have to lose?”,so I ordered the smoothies.
I managed to lose 30kgs with the help of the smoothies and some personal training I did randomly, but after a bad relationship breakdown, my weightloss seized, I lost my focus and life was in slow motion for a while. Lots of self-loathing and junk food binges followed. I wasn’t in a good place.
Two months ago I jumped on the 28 day weight loss challenge wagon and haven’t looked back!
Every Sunday I meal prep with the help of the little man who is now 4. We go through the recipes and pick what we want to try, lots of slow cooking meals and baking because I love to bake.
This Month I am giving it my all, as some of you mums may have seen my posts, Im all about reaching my goal by my birthday, and changing my life permanently with the help of the healthy mummy 28 day challenges and smoothies.
Best of luck to you all, we’ve got this!!! No matter how many times you fail, just get back up and know you can do this! 2 years of nothing for me, and I’m back on track and I’ve already lost 2.8kgs in the last week of the June challenge, we can do this together Mummas!
