My name is Julie and I am a mum of 2 and there is a gap of 17 months! I am one of your motivating mums.
In January 2015 I purchased a tub of the Healthy Mummy smoothie mix and have not looked back.  I soon then joined the now monthly challenge and can credit the combination the challenges, using the smoothie mixes and various books available to losing to date 29kgs*.

I am so close to reaching my 30kg goal my by daughters first birthday, but even if i don’t get there, in less than 12 months I have come so far.

Some of my achievements along the way are not only scale related, but I have dropped dress sizes from a size 20 to a size 14 and have lost 74cms across my body and probably more because we don’t measure every inch.
I have gained so much more confidence and energy to be the mum I really want to me – running around in the playground with the kids or up and down the slides is so much easier now.
I have returned to my love of running and after having lost 29kg it is much easier, though I do now push this equivalent in the pram as my children weigh this combined!
One of my goals for 2016 will be to run a half marathon on the 22/5/16 (stayed tuned for my posts on my running as I love trying to inspire you all).
No journey when losing weight will be easy and smooth sailing, we are constantly faced with challenges  and demons, such as emotional eating!
I have faced a lot of challenges during  the 28 day challenges including many a parties with finger food and also having really hard days with my kids, but I can gladly say that a few times when I have reached for something I perhaps shouldn’t eat I have reminded myself of my goals and how far I have come.
Planning around things and knowing what you have ahead can be helpful, if you do fall off though and it happens to all of us and recognise and own it and get back on track ASAP its ok!
I am faced with a large challenge lasting two weeks as I am travelling over east to my family, but my smoothie tub, internet connection and books will help me get through it and i plan to help out with the cooking so can control some of what  eat!
I am looking forward to the next 28 day challenge and to hopefully shedding a few more kgs,  my new revised goal once I reach the 75kg mark will to fingers crossed by the end of February and these 100 days have reach 70kg – can’t wait to continue sharing my journey with you all.
