Jade Shaw has continued to amaze and inspire us all throughout her journey of losing baby weight. Today she updates us on some of the key things she does to keep herself on track.
“Hi my name is Jade shaw,
I’m a single mummy to a beautiful 15 month old baby girl Indiana. I started my weight loss journey with lose baby weight at the start of September 2014.

I had just come out of a very unhealthy relationship with the father of my daughter. I was constantly put down and never felt good enough. My confidence was at an all time low and I was in denial about suffering from depression. Resulting in me stacking on a lot of weight.
It was at the point I came across Lose Baby Weight and I new I had to change my life!!!
I joined up straight away to the September 28 day weightloss challenge and lost 5 kilos within a month. I continued to follow the lose baby weight recipes and plans and have done every challenge since September. I have now lost 25 kilos!!
I have battled weight issues since I was a teenager. Reflecting back on my teenage years now as an adult I realised that I never had self belief or self worth and giving up always seemed like the easy way out.
Since starting lose baby weight I have achieved more than I thought was ever possible from starting out and actually sticking to it to now becoming a runner.  I’m so proud of myself.
My three biggest tips are:

 Believe in yourself

Getting yourself in to a mindset where you believe you can do it and won’t stop till you achieve what you want and being able to see your self worth is so very important.

Keeping it real and reflecting on the bigger picture

The reality of weight Loss is it’s a lifestyle change and it’s not going to happen over night. I had all these high expectations that I was going to lose 1-2 kilos a week and I would be at goal weight in no time. We need to remember slow and steady wins and race and just go with it enjoy every step of your weight loss journey. Don’t focus to much on the scales and try and use other resources to also reflect your journey and how far you have come such as
Progress pictures, taking measurements and the way your clothes are fitting. The scales can lie and somtimes we are our own worst critics.

Preperation is the key

Have meals in the freezer ready to go for those days you don’t have time or just can’t be bothered. Also have snacks prepared that you can easily go to, to stop you binging on something naughty.
I would like to lastly share the things I have regained from my new found lifestyle change and being apart of lose baby weight.

The biggest one to date is being a healthy mummy for My daughter which is very important as she only has me and also giving her the tools she needs to grow up living a healthy and happy lifestyle!!
