I have been lucky enough to drop most of my pregnancy weight just over 4 months after I gave birth to my son Rocky and the healthy mummy smoothies and Lose Baby Weight website and plans have really helped me and my milk supply.
My weight when I fell pregnant was 50kgs and I set myself a goal to only get down to 55kg post baby.
I have found so much inspiration from the Lose Baby Weight team, other mums and all the yummy recipes on the website. When I first stumbled across the web page, I reckon I spent about 2 hours just reading through delicious smoothie and food recipes and inspirational, sad and funny stories.
Lose Baby Weight and the other “everyday” mums have reminded me how important it is to keep hydrated, eat healthy food (because we all know how easy it is to grab a quick biscuit or muesli bar!) and keep active.
Just because we’re mums doesn’t mean we should forget about ourselves. Most of us don’t have nannies and housekeepers which makes it hard to find time to exercise and eat right but I see it as a challenge!
I initially struggled with breastfeeding with my son but the midwives kept assuring me Rocky was getting more than enough milk as he was putting on about 700 grams each fortnight! I give my thanks to my Healthy Mummy Smoothies for having a strong supply! My son is now a little boof!!
My fiancé and I have set the date for our wedding in November 2013 and with the advice on the website and my yummo healthy mummy smoothies (which I look forward to each day!) I know I’m already nearly there and feeling healthy!
