The cooler weather is here and the great news is that if you don’t fancy a cold smoothie there are lots of ways that you can have your healthy mummy smoothie warm – here’s a great one, sent in by Linda Hallas, that is also using tea – so dairy free too.
And – also make sure you grab a spoon because this one is as thick and warm as porridge.
- Brew 250 ml of licorice tea (you could also use any kind of herbal tea).
- Meanwhile in the blender place 1 small banana, 2 fresh dates (or dried) 2 scoops of chocolate healthy mummy smoothie mix
- Pour in your tea and blend for a couple of mins (don’t pour boiling hot tea in your blender).
- Pour back into your warm mug and spoon it out!
