Having a high fibre diet is extremely good for your health and digestion as well as being excellent for weight loss. And this is the reason our Healthy Mummy Smoothies are so high in fibre!
But this week we were sent in this smoothie recipe using dates and bananas which makes the smoothie even higher in fibre – so really upping the fibre content of the smoothie.
Just make sure you always drink lots of water when increasing your fibre as your body needs extra water to help to digest the fibre.
Aim for around 2 litres of water a day

Choc, Banana & Date smoothie
  • 200ml milk of choice ( I use unsweetened almond milk)
  • 1/2 sml banana
  • 50g dried dates
  • Chocolate Healthy Mummy Smoothie mix

Combine, blend and enjoy!! This can also be enjoyed warm – with the milk heated.
