Today we have a fantastic reader recipe for you all to try that the whole family will love and it will not derail you from your healthy eating plan.
It is quick and easy to make and is packed full of healthy and nutritious ingredients, this snack ticks all of the boxes for a healthy treat.
Ingredients
Base
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup sultanas
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup honey (melted a little in microwave)
- 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
Topping
- 1/4 cup low fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tbls strawberry healthy mummy smoothie mix
Method
- To make the base, mix all of the listed base ingredients together in bowl and press into small square tin lined with baking paper.
- Next make the topping mix the listed topping ingredients together
- Spread the topping ingredients over the base
- Cover and freeze for approx 3-4 hours until firm.
- Cut into 15 bars and store in an airtight container in the freezer
