This scrumptious Chocolate Peppermint Slice recipe is from one of our wonderful Motivating Mums, Rhiannan Sprinall.  It’s dairy and egg free, has no butter, no white sugar, AND is made with wholemeal flour – talk about a guilt free healthy treat!

Healthy Choc Peppermint Slice


  • 1 cup Wholemeal flour
  • 3/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1tbsp cacao
  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar
  • 120g coconut oil


  • 150g Peppermint dark chocolate


  1. Mix all base ingredients together until combined.
  2. Spray 20cm x 20cm glass baking dish with coconut oil and press base into dish.
  3. Cook in microwave for 8 minutes at 60% power.
  4. Allow to cool well.
  5. Melt dark chocolate and spread over base. Refrigerate until set.

Makes 16 serves. 201 calories serve
