Ashleigh J Dunkley has submitted this creative smoothie recipe using The Healthy Mummy vanilla smoothie mix and it looks SO AMAZING we just had to share it.

The interesting mis of sweet and salty adds a punch of flavour (think salted caramel).  It’s also healthy and really easy to make. Perfect when following a healthy eating plan.

Choc caramel pretzel cluster smoothie.

 Ingredients

  • 250ml unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp coffee
  • 2 tbsp vanilla healthy mummy mix
  • 3 pretzels – crushed 
  • Lots of ice 

Caramel Sauce

  • 1 tsp Tahini
  • 1 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cocoa

Method

  • Blend all smoothie ingredients in a blender for 2-3 minutes until well combined.
  • While your smoothie is blending make your choc caramel sauce by mixing the listed ingredients togehter.
  • Pour some choc caramel sauce into your glass and swirl it around. Pour your smoothie into the glass and top with your crushed pretzels and the remaining choc caramel sauce.

Serves 1350 Calories per serve.
