My healthy mummy journey started in October 2013 just before my youngest turned 1, I noticed  a photo of myself on the beach holding our son & it was a wake up moment as to how unhealthy and unfit I really was.

I was following the Lose Baby Weight Facebook page & reading every ones amazing results from following the programs & that’s when I decided I can do it too.
I purchased my first lot of Lose Baby Weight smoothie tubs, the 28 day recipe book & the work out DVD which kick started my healthy mummy journey into gear.
I LOVED the smoothys & started getting active again following the DVD and going for walks with my pram.
In January 2015 I signed up for my first 28 day challenge & have never looked back.
The meals are AMAZING & family friendly which I love because in the past before Lose Baby Weight I’d endeavour on diets & quickly lose interest because I’d have to plan to cook two separate meals at dinner time as they weren’t suitable for the whole family.
The challenge meals are delicious & not hard to make we have saved several as family favourites, which makes sticking to the plan so much easier because were all enjoying the same meals.

I’ve never been one too keen on exercise but I love walking and doing the challenge work outs I find them achievable for my fitness level & most importantly fun and rewarding, having had two large children toning has played a large part in bringing my body somewhat back to its pre pregnancy form.
I’ve lost 27kgs so far using lose baby weight & only have 5-8kgs left to go to achieving my ultimate goal, which I’m know the November challenge will bring me closer to achieving!
This is my first ever time sharing my journey and photos because of shame I held about my before images.
My partner and sister in-law encouraged me to put my hand up for the November motivating mummy which was a huge step for myself sharing my photos.
But I am ready to put myself out there and be proud of my achievements so far as it’s been a slow and sometimes challenging journey & I’ve recognised just how far I’ve come thanks to taking that leap of faith & investing in my health and fitness back in 2013 when I joined Lose Baby Weight.
So here I am committed, proud & excited to share my journey & motivate others to strive for the stars!
Like so many amazing mummy’s before me I want to encourage others to believe in their goals & don’t be afraid to give back to yourself, Us mummy’s give so much to others we deserve to give a little back & look after ourselves too 🙂
