I first started with the Lose Baby Weight plans in September after giving birth in August. I was lucky enough to be a motivating mum in October and I am happy to report that I have reached a great milestone – the realization that my body is getting back to my version of “normal”; I am able to run, I feel healthier, more energized and far more confident. I have also just realised a 10kg loss of weight.
That’s 10kg lost in two months (and 22kg in total) – I’m healthy and happy! As a result my BMI is now 23.2… very comfortably within the “healthy” weight range. It’s a great feeling and something I could not have achieved without Lose Baby Weight. I am still 2kg off my goal weight – a goal I feel confident of achieving by December!

But the biggest lesson I have really learned has been that despite the scales moving slowly, my results are happening much faster than I expected. My measurements – which I track each week as part of the Summer challenge – have all gone down substantially.
When I started I had to still wear my maternity clothes or a size 14; just last week I bought myself a new skirt and it was a size 10!! In total I’ve lost 14 cms from my hips, 17 cms from my bust, 21 cms from my waist and 10cms from my thighs since starting on the Lose Baby Weight products.
My current measurements are:

  • Bust – 88cm
  • Waist – 73cm
  • Hips – 99cm
  • Thighs – 56cm
  • Weight – 72kg
  • (Height: 176cm)

That’s just a result of having the healthy mummuy smoothies, eating healthy from the 28 Day Exercise and Cookbook, the Summer Cookbook and doing the exercises DVD for about 20 minutes each day. It’s been that simple…
Restricted in what I could do up until now, the DVD was also great as it gave me choices and allowed me to feel like I was doing some exercise for my body each day.
My food routine is now a little more relaxed, as I can do more exercise after being given the all-clear from my specialist but I still adhere to the basic principles in the Calorie Bible and breakfast is always a Healthy Mummy smoothie – usually the mocha or strawberry as they are my favourites.
Having digested all the handy information in the cookbooks and calorie bible, I’m much better informed about making healthy choices and I no longer feel the need to snack on chocolate bars and chips – instead my fridge is full of the healthy snacks I’ve made myself!
I’m really happy with the way my life is changing and, although I know I still have a way to go, the support that I receive from Lose Baby Weight and the tools on the Summer Challenge really help me stay on track as I am towards my final goal of 60 kg. For me this will be a total of 22 kg weight loss – a realistic goal and one that I am doing in a healthy way.
