Hello Healthy Mummies!
I am absolutely loving the July challenge! I’ve been inspired by all your Facebook posts and how encouraging everyone is that I’ve been adding to my weekly plan. I’ve been doing my daily workouts every morning by 5am as I get too busy during the rest of the morning before going to work.
At work I’ve become the step lady, doing steps during my lunch break, walking around the car park downstairs at my office and just making sure I’m being as active as possible.
My fears this month were about following the meal plan on the weekends, as weekends and evenings were my biggest derailment times. But so far so good. I’ve been following the plan to a T – getting the exercises done first and out of the way has been my best choice. If you struggle with fitting your workout in, just get up that little bit earlier or make a goal to get it done when you know your kids are having a nap.
The thing I love the most about the challenge is the fact that it’s all planned and organised for me, but flexible and delicious at the same time. My family love the food and I feel like I am a better mum since being on my Healthy Mummy journey.
I feel more positive, I feel happier and I am nowhere near as stressed and grumpy as I was before.
