Content & Community Manager Position

Role – Content and Community Manager 
Joining a dynamic and young business (5 years old), which is the fastest growing niche weight loss company created just for mums.
The candidate must have the passion and desire to make a difference and also have a genuine interest in health, food or fitness.
The job roles involves

  • Day-to-day account handling of social channels for the brand such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest & blog including account moderation and customer service
  • Written and visual content creation – writing posts, articles, and other material for social media channels in line with agreed social and brand strategy
  • Regular reporting on community health including growth & engagement
  • Social media marketing – creating, managing and optimizing Facebook ad campaigns and other executing campaigns on other relevant platforms
  • Assisting in planning and executing influencer programmes
  • Management of promotions, competition moderation, prizing and fulfilment
  • Creation of report presentations as required and appropriate

The person must

  • Demonstrate creativity and documented immersion in social media
  • Have experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
  • Be equally creative and analytical in approach, and be able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound
  • Have thorough knowledge of and experience in managing Facebook ad campaigns
  • Possess the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written & verbal with a high attention to detail
  • Be self motivated and possess strong initiative
  • Have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise their workload
  • Want to make a difference in a small but fast growing company
  • Have a can do and upbeat personality

Experience required

  • Content creation and community management experience for an online brand
  • Preferably have experience working either in the health arena or mums content arena
  • Work experience or training in advertising, PR, online marketing or similar field
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization-think including basic keyword research
  • Knowledge of how to tag and title content, with an understanding of how the word’s chosen impact natural search traffic and rankings via recurrent optimized content

Salary – between $60k – $70k depending on experience
