Often it is hard to think of a quick, tasty and nutritious post workout snack for you to have while following a healthy eating plan.
These Chocolate Quinoa Protein Balls make the perfect post workout snack as they are packed full of protein.
Ingredients
- 1tbs cocao powder (make sure there is no lumps)
- 1tbps coconut oil
- 2tbps honey
- 1/2 cup quinoa flakes
- 1/2 cup almond meal
Method
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and mix until well combined.
- Roll mix into 12 balls
- Set in the fridge or freezer
Makes 12 balls approx, 80 calories each ball
