This is a great recipe for making with the kids, as it’s part chocolate crackle and no baking required!
When you’re taking part in one of our 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges, eating regularly is essential, so you’ll find lots of healthy and delicious snacks. At only 97 calories per serve, this slice is perfect if you’re losing baby weight. Just make sure you take 10 minutes to sit down and relax while you enjoy it.
Chocolate Nutty Slice
Ingredients
- 4 cups brown puffed rice
- ⅓ cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tbsp cacao
- 2 tbsp mixed dried fruit
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp honey
- ⅓ cup light milk
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 100g dark chocolate melts
Method
- In a mixing bowl, mix everything except peanut butter and chocolate together until combined.
- Press into slice tray and freeze for 1 hour or until firm.
- Spread peanut butter over the top and freeze for ten minutes.
- Then spread melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer.
- Freeze for another ten minutes and then it’s ready!
Recipe makes 20 serves, 97 calories per serve.
