Before I embarked on this new adventure I was ashamed by the way I looked. I really hated myself. Hated looking at photos of myself. It was awful.
I used to be quite slim and really liked the way I like looked. I regularly had my hair done and wore make up. After meeting my partner I took on his bad habits of eating a lot of take away. It wasn’t long before I could eat a whole large pizza to myself with a few glasses of Coke and some chocolate after. I ballooned out while I was pregnant and continued to gain weight after I finished breastfeeding. I was in a terrible place.
I saw a photograph of myself at my friends daughters 1st birthday party and I was mortified. She looked fantastic I was so ashamed of myself. I didn’t even look like my old self. That’s when I knew I needed to make a change.
Her birthday was the 15th of August 2015 and I signed up for my first 28 Day Weight Loss challenge shortly after her party. I made my smoothie order and got my blender I was ready.
Fast forward now and look how far I’ve come. I’ve lost almost 20kgs and feel incredible. I still have another 15-20kgs to loose but I know it is doable.
