Lose Baby Weight- 31kg Loss

This month before I started the 28 Day Sugar Detox challenge with Lose Baby Weight, I decided to complete the Three Days Cleanse which is a meal plan that is based more upon protein and clean eating.
During the cleanse, I felt amazing and the food was easy to make and I was able to prepare the meals in advance ready for the three days so I could stay on track.

During the cleanse my exercise routine was doing an hour each day of the Healthy Mummy Post Natal Exercise Dvd, and walking 20 minutes each night after tea.
On the fourth day after the cleanse I weighed in and I had lost 1.7kg, which also boosted my motivation to push harder.
As the last couple weeks have gone by my daily exercise is completing the whole Post Natal exercise Dvd from the Healthy Mummy, following the 28 Day Challenge meal plans and replacing my breakfast and lunch with the healthy mummy smoothies.
I have noticed since I have added extra cardio and exercise to my daily routine the weight has come off a little faster and I have lost between 1kg to 2.1 kg each week which has helped me reach my first goal of losing my first 30 plus kilos.
Some exciting things I have accomplished this month is I can now do push ups on my toes, it has took me five months of been consistent and practise, and my general fitness is improving.
I am no longer struggling to walk to the bus stop and gasp for air, I am feeling healthy and amazing and as a busy mother to four children.
I highly suggest The Healthy Mummy Program because I have learnt to cook all the foods I love such as pizzas, cakes and Asian Dishes in a healthy way and this has been so great for me cooking the food I love and still nourish my body at the same time.

I would also like to suggest a couple tips I have tried that helped boosted my weight loss a little better this month.

  • Try the Three Days Cleanse before starting the challenge, I found I was less bloated and I felt really cleansed and my energy levels were amazing.
  • Keep on top of drinking your water aim for 2L
  • Try to gently increase your cardio
  • Make sure you take some time for yourself to relax, for me to relax I like to give myself a facial and spend time taking care of my skin, drinking a glass of cold water and having a small fruit platter whilst watching some movies.
  • Try eating more fruit and vegetables for snacks for me I really enjoy celery and carrot sticks and apples.
  • Don’t stay focused on your scales too much, I find if I just eat well and maintain a healthy life style my body isn’t so stressed out over my weight
  • Make sure to get the sleep you need, if your able to take a nap during the day go ahead and rest, remember taking care of your self is so important as well
