Hi Mums, In seven months on the lose baby weight program and combining the healthy mummy smoothies together I have lost 43kg*.
The Lose baby weight program has kept me on track. I have enjoyed some amazing recipes from the 28 day December Challenge, and to mention a few I have found the mango and passion fruit bowl to be super refreshing on these summer mornings, I enjoyed the Choc Nut French toast and the blue berry swirl cheese cake which have been regulars with my family over the last few weeks.
I have found this challenge that I have done so well, and found I have managed to quit some more bad habits that I was struggling with some times, for me these habits I found I have finally broken this month was that I was not snacking when I’m stressed and I found my self replacing all my cravings like snicker bars or hedge hog slices and replacing them with the lose baby weight versions such as the healthy snickers slice and the healthy hedge hog slice.
I always find if there is some thing I’m craving that I can find a healthier alternative I can make from a range of recipes from the challenge hub that’s featured for challenge members on the website.
When it came to my stress eating I found if I drank water in place of food this helped and I also found the more I exercised and stuck to my routine I had a clear mind, I was more relaxed and not as tired. So for a few tips to keep you going I would like to suggest the following.
- If your a stress eater keep a cold water bottle on hand in the fridge and any raw vegetable sticks you can go to as these are healthy alternatives and will keep the calories down if you are over eating.
- Shop online for groceries and buy what you need and don’t be tempted to buy unhealthy food so you don’t sabotage your healthy eating and weightloss goals.
- Don’t feel guilty on days you don’t eat healthy focus on the rest of the day and make the rest of the day count by attempting to add some fruit and vegetables so your going to bed knowing you still had healthy food, if we can stop saying I will restart tomorrow it can lead to be another excuse, I find for me if I focus on the next snack and meal to be healthy I know I still didn’t give up on that day and I don’t feel so guilty eating a treat.
- Try to complete your daily 28 day exercises, the exercises are targeted to exercise the whole body during the week with a range of different work outs that target different areas daily, the results vary but you will benefit so much more like I have over this challenge as I completed the daily challenge exercises 110%.
- Keep on top of your water intake as drinking your daily water intake has many benefits for your body.
I look forward to keeping you all updated on my next blog and wish you good luck for the next challenge ladies and remember you can do it.
With Love
From Brooke
