Hello ladies. My name is Bianca and so far using Lose Baby Weight I have lost 20kgs*. I started my first challenge back in June last year (2015) and haven’t looked back. I love how simple they are and how good they make me feel.
This my first time being a Motivating Mum and I am super excited.

Let me introduce myself a little bit. I am a mum of 3, I have 2 daughters and a son, they are 13, 7 and 5. I am also a wife to my wonderful husband Lyndon, we have been married for 3 years now, together for almost 10 years.
I also work part time and I am studying as well, trying to find time for everything is sometimes hard but somehow we manage to fit everything as mums it’s just what we do.

My weight gain journey started after I had my first daughter. Although I went back to my pre baby weight of 65kgs, I decided I needed to get on some strong contraception as I was a young mum and didn’t want to fall pregnant again.
I got the implant (Implanon) in my arm and almost immediately I started to put on weight, and over the 3 years I had it in I put on 20kgs.
Then over the next 10 years I quit smoking and gave birth to two more children, bringing me to June 2015 weighing in at 112kg and an unhappy version of me.
Before Lose Baby Weight I was unhappy and unhealthy. I didn’t eat well and never took care of myself and exercise was non-existent. I was really starting to not like looking in a mirror as what I was seeing was a woman who didn’t love herself anymore, and didn’t have the motivation to change it. Or so I thought.
I had been seeing on Facebook a friend of mine, the one and only Lauren Kolstad, and her amazing journey.
I had seen her smile grow as she posted pics of her shrinking through hard work and good food. I was still hesitant that I could do it. I was always looking for a quick fix and nothing worked.

I tried numerous shake diets that worked for a little while but then just made me sick. Then I found Lose Baby Weight and my life changed forever.
I signed up for my first challenge in May (2015) already to start the June challenge. I failed. I didn’t start till the end of June. The instant I started I never looked back.
I had finally taken charge of myself again and I couldn’t believe the changes I was seeing. I was kicking myself as to why I was so frightened to take that first leap into this amazing journey.
The meals were easy to make and tasted amazing. Then I had my first smoothie. OMG! I was in love I cannot live without my daily smoothie normally for breakfast as I am racing out the door to get the kids to school and myself to work.
They are simple and filling, and I can make a different one every day or the same one, I just love them.
Exercise was my next step. And boy was that a hard one. When I first signed for my first 28 day challenge I joined with my friend Alicia, who many of you are familiar with. She has been a great inspiration, support person and exercise buddy.
We started slowly 6km walks, which absolutely killed me, we kept going and building up to 7, 8,10km walks. She has given me support when I needed it and pushed me when I needed it, she has also been there when the scales aren’t moving and I am having a teary moment about it.
I have also started using my gym membership again, going 3 days a week with my wonderful husband, who pushes me to lift more and have a go. I
am running on the treadmill again which is an amazing feeling. I can’t live without exercise and my Fitbit now, they are both part of my everyday life and I love it.
I can’t wait to share in the January 28 day Challenge with you all. Together ladies we have got this, we can achieve whatever we set our minds to. Bring on 2016.
