Hi fellow mummies,
It’s been 2 weeks since starting my motivational mummy journey on the Lose Baby Weight plans and I thought it would be a great idea to update you all on how things have been. So far things haven’t been too bad and in total I have lost 12.5kg.
I have been getting a lot of use out of the Lose Baby Weight Post Pregnancy Exercise DVD. We’ve had a lot of rain here and it’s been quite humid so the DVD definitely helps with getting in exercise. I also love how I can include my son into my workouts (our favourite is the squats while I hold my son).
The DVD certainly makes exercising so much easier. By being able to break up the workouts into small blocks throughout the day there really is no excuse as to why we can’t exercise. This month I’ve also had a few gym dates with my partner. Once again another motivation to getting in there and exercising plus we get to spend some quality time together.
We’ve also been cooking lots of yummy meals out of the LBW 28 Day Plan and recipes on the LBW website. Our favourites would have to be the chicken noodle soup, healthy lasagne, vegetable and lentil pilaf, chicken and steamed vegetables and beef stir fry. All of the meals are so easy to make and taste delicious! I’ve also been getting into the habit of doing a big cook up and freezing some of the meals. This definitely helps with ensuring we have healthy meals for those nights where we can’t be bothered cooking or aren’t home to cook.
I feel these past 2 weeks I have put in a decent effort however I am currently going through the not so nice side of weight loss (my scales have only shown that I’ve lost 300 grams and don’t want to get below 88.1 kg). I think I am starting to come to realisation that as I am getting closer to my goal weight of 80 kg it is going to be a lot harder to shed these final kilos. Its disheartening to see however I know that with keeping up with the healthy eating and exercising I will eventually get to my goal weight. I am currently fitting comfortably into a size 12 so I can’t complain too much.
