In the cold winter weather, warm up your tummy with this hot Apple Pie Oatmeal. Healthy Mummy member Ash has created this delicious and nutritious snack (or breakfast) with only 195 calories. Perfect to complement the Healthy Mummy 28 Day Challenge.
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup rolled oats
- ⅓ cup milk of choice (I used unsweetened almond milk)
- 1 egg
- ½ green apple, peeled and chopped
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp water
Method
- Turn oven on to pre heat at 180 degrees
- Mix the chopped apple, cinnamon and water in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in the microwave until softened
- Mix the oats, milk and egg until well combined, once combined then add the softened apple mix
- Place in an oven proof dish and place in the oven for 20-30min until brown on top and cooked
