This month we meet Motivating Mum Amy Babty who has lost 34kg our Lose Baby Weight plans.
Hi I’m Amy, 27 year old mum to two boys, William, 2 years and 4 months and Oliver, 9 months.
Up until I got glandular fever at 20 I took being slender and active for granted. I was always on the move. It didn’t seem to matter what I ate (so I ate badly) I just stayed the same.
It was so easy to ignore the first 10 or so extra kilos, as I am very tall only I really knew about them but when I started to hit 80kg it started to become more apparent and I started to lose confidence and interest in anything that would expose flesh.
I ballooned with different health issues and after I gave birth to Oliver I weighed a whopping 108kg! I was considered obese and I felt disgusting and had no respect for myself. JuPortion controlst the thought of having to go clothes shopping could reduce me to tears.
I know that I will always need to be careful in terms of weight gain as I am on a steroid based medication for life so if it is slightly out I am prone to increased appetite and therefore bloating and weight gain. Which is why I was not going to go anywhere near a “diet” but wanted something that would help me to improve my lifestyle and overall health.

I am so glad I did as even though I doubted myself and thought I would never be able to lose the weight I started to see some results. I am gradually starting to shop for new clothes and finding I come away from a shopping trip with something (that fits!!! Woohoo!!!) and I feel great about it!
