The June Weight Loss Mum of the Month Winner

Wow. We have had so many entries to this month’s mum of the month promotion we run and have been very busy going through all the fantastic entries and seeing the weight loss results from mums all over the country.

Weight_Loss_ResultsOne of the best parts of my job is seeing all the AMAZING results from mums on the Lose Baby Weight plans and I have been blown away with all the amazing stories and before and after pictures that have been sent in this month.

But only one mum can win the weight loss mum of the months and we had to pick a winner! But as there were so many AMAZING entries – we decided to pick one winner (wins a $300 Myer voucher)and 5 runner ups (all of whom receive a $100 Myer voucher as we wanted to showcase some amazing results and stories to help inspire mums all over the country do the same too.

So this month’s winner is…………..Hayley Peterson!  Hayley looks like a SUPERSTAR and I can’t believe she has 3 kids (and she looks very like Katy Perry too!!) Well done Hayley – you look amazing!

Hayley’s Story

“I started following the Lose Baby Weight plan when my second daughter was 9 months old. I technically had lost all of my baby weight but I liked the nutritional value of the smoothies and also wanted to lose an extra few kg’s, which I did.

Then I became pregnant and I continued having the smoothies fairly often throughout my third pregnancy. My third daughter is now 17 weeks old and I have so far lost 17 of the 20kg I gained.

I have a Healthy Mummy smoothie for breakfast, light healthy lunch and most of our dinners are recipes from the Lose Baby Weight website. I run on our treadmill 3-4 times a week.

I love how filling & tasty the smoothies are and I love the convenience – Having 3 kids under 4 years of age I don’t really have time to sit down to eat breakfast but I can make a smoothie in 2 minutes and drink it as I go.

I really love the new Healthy Mummy range, it tastes delicious and it is so fantastic that there are so many ingredients aimed at breastfeeding mothers and it is great value and it so quick and easy to make. Thanks Rhian & team.”

    Hi Hayley, just after some advice. How did u fit exercise in? Am finding it Really difficult to get time with 2 kids to do anything!

    Kellee – when the baby has a nap in the day I set the older two up with morning/afternoon tea, books, puzzles, play doh etc (depends what time of day it is) in the room where the treadmill is while I run. I also do sit ups, lunges, squats etc whenever I can fit them in and the older two join in (which is rather entertaining!) I try and do 1 run a week on the treadmill when my husband is home (he works shift work & long hours) so that I can turn the iPod on, shut the door and use that as some time out.
    Just try and squeeze it into your day somehow, even if its 3 x 10 minute sessions like Rhian suggests. And involve the kids too. Maybe in the morning try and plan out the day and when you may be able to do it. (although that doesnt always work, it may help you find a good time) hope you can make it work.
