Hi Healthy Mummy’s!!! My name is Tamara and I am a 27 year old mummy to the most incredibly cheeky, active little monster ever!!
I am lucky enough that this is my second time now being picked to be a Motivating Mum for you amazing ladies. I also feel even luckier as November 2015 marks a year since I have been following the Lose Baby Weight 28 day challenges and have lost 32kgs*.

When I first found Lose Baby Weight in October 2014 (advertising for the November 28 day challenge) I was an unhappy, frumpy mummy still wearing my maternity clothes.

I was not the mummy I had dreamed I would be. I was weighing around 113kgs. Although this is not the heaviest I have ever weighed, I just didn’t feel comfortable at all. I couldn’t even walk to my mailbox without getting out of breath!
My husband was sceptical when I mentioned signing up for the challenge, but I convinced him (and myself) that it was only 28 days. Let’s see what can happen in 28 days!!!
Those 28 days are the beginning of what has been the most incredible journey that I wish I had done a long time ago. I have been overweight since I was about 15. Always hovering around the 100kg mark. I have tried loads of other programs but with little success.
The past year for me has been amazing! That’s it, amazing!
I now weigh 76kgs which is the lightest I have ever weighed. I am enjoying my new body. I am enjoying all the positive comments from my friends and my family. I am enjoying being able to purchase clothing and know it will fit (although I am still getting used to this part of the journey, I still buy things that are way too big!!)

The Lose Baby Weight 28 day challenges and Healthy Mummy Smoothies have helped me to actually get out there and begin living my life.
I now have so many things I want to try and because I have confidence, good health and good fitness I know I can do it.
So stay tuned to hopefully seeing me try loads of new things during the 2015 November 28 day challenge.
My goal during November is not only to try new things and experiences, but also work on my fitness.
Although my ideal goal weight is 70kgs, I am mostly focussed on toning and increasing my fitness levels.
When I first started Lose Baby Weight I was walking for an hour a day.
Now that I am working 3 days a week I can’t walk as much as I used to however I now go to a mums n bubs bootcamp twice a week, I run at least 5kms twice a week, I do sandhill running once a week and I love to participate in HIIT challenges, along with the Lose Baby Weight tone up challenge and Kat’s tone your butt n thighs challenge.
I am so excited to see what else the next 28 days brings for all of you amazing women who are on the same journey.
When you think about it, 28 days is not long – but it is long enough to change habits and change your life!
