When trying to lose weight or follow a healthy eating plan, it’s common to avoid things like burgers due to their high calorie, high fat reputation.
Hi Lose Baby Weight, here is my pregnancy weight loss story after I have been following the Lose Baby Weight pregnancy weight loss plans.
Throughout my pregnancy I didn’t start to put on weight until the end and put on about 15kg.
I expected to put on more so it was a nice surprise!
As I did not breastfeed for long I found I ended up putting on weight after having my baby which made me feel horrible about myself, as I was trying to enjoy my new baby girls life.
Since starting The Healthy Mummy smoothies and Lose Baby Weight plans, I have lost approx 3 kgs, and down to my pre pregnancy weight for baby number 2.
I still have my pregnancy weight gain to loose from baby number 1 which is 10kg but I am really happy with the Lose Baby Weight plans.
I also was drawn to your healthy mummy smoothies as I am still breastfeeding and must say that I noticed a change in the amount of milk I have for bub number 2.
My first child I introduced formula with breast feeding at 7 months as my milk had started to drop off.
Bub number 2 is now 10 months today and I am still breastfeeding without having to supplement feed him at all.
Hi Lose Baby Weight, my name is Renee Sinclair and I am the mum of a very active 2 and a half year old girl, Lola and a 6 week old boy, Alex.
When I fell pregnant with our daughter I was a small 49kgs & to be honest I had no idea just what type of weight gain to expect.. By the end of my first pregnancy I was 90kgs – I had gained 40kgs in pregnancy weight – I was devastated!
But with the new, busy & unpredictable role of being stay-at-home-mum I found it incredibly difficult to prioritize myself and my weight. I did manage to get down to 63kgs before I fell pregnant with our son.
Recent studies have actually found that adding yoghurt to your diet aids healthy weight loss, due to the high ratio of protein to fat in a typical tub of the white stuff.
The consistency and texture also makes yoghurt a weight loss winner as it’s something that is enjoyable to eat.
This makes it an easy choice as a healthy snack over something less nutritious.
Fibre is a very important part of any healthy eating plan – it will help to keep you full, meaning that you eat less and therefore take in fewer calories, and it also helps to keep you regular, which is essential for good health.
Guidelines recommend that you consume between 25-30g of fibre per day. We all know that fruits and veggies are good for us, but did you know that they are also a brilliant source of fibre? Here’s our top ten list of fibre-rich fruits to help you on your way.
Hi Lose Baby Weight, here is my pregnancy weight loss story since I have been following the Lose Baby Weight & Healthy Mummy plans.
Feb 12 was going to be a big day for me… a new and improved Val.
I was starting my part time job and also starting the Lose Baby Weight regime.
After having 2 babies within 14 months, I was at my worst weighing in at 70kg (pre pregnancy I weighed 49kg!) amd I’m only short …
Today i weigh 54.3kg and look fit and healthy!! All I had was one Healthy Mummy Smooothie for breakfast and just ate reasonably healthy throughout the day.
Full of delicious flavours, fresh ingredients and bright colours, it’s also one of the most visually appealing meals you can pop on your plate.
While the way your food looks isn’t as important as the way it tastes, creating a meal that looks good is actually very beneficial.
This is especially important when you’re following a weight loss or healthy eating plan.
This week we are excited to bring you a FREE Tracy Anderson Post Pregnancy Workout DVD worth $29.99 with orders over $72
We are often asked about what exercises mums who are trying to lose their pregnancy weight can do at home and as such our Lose Baby Weight personal trainer and pilates expert has created a number of easy to follow post pregnancy exercise videos to follow – you can see them here.
But we also get asked for what are the best DVD’s to follow.
So this is why we are giving away the Tracy Anderson DVD with purchases this week.
But please be aware that the Tracy Anderson DVD is not an easy one and you should make sure you are fully recovered post birth before trying to do it and have got the all clear from your Doctor or Physio, and a good idea is to start very slowly on the exercises and not try to do the DVD in it’s entirety on the first go.
Hi Lose Baby Weight,
I want to thank you for creating such a wonderful, nutritious product and creating The Healthy Mummy range!
After the birth of our daughter Tilly I took it easy and didn’t worry too much about losing the weight.
I eventually lost the baby weight over 6-8 months but was still over weight so I went on a crash diet and lost another 6kg, going down to 76.5kgs.
It was such a tough diet and I felt tired and hungry all of the time. I should of known better than to go on a radical diet but I had my sisters wedding coming up and needed to get into a bridesmaids dress.
Then I fell pregnant with our son Alex and re-gained all of the weight I had lost and more, as you do when you start eating ‘normally’ after being on a crash diet!
For some reason I felt so self conscious after my son was born and really wanted to lose the weight as soon as possible. I saw a friend of mine had liked the Lose Baby Weight page on Facebook so I had a look at the website and it sounded fantastic so I decided to give it a go.
