This month marks my 1 year anniversary with Lose baby weight and I have lost a total of 26 kg.
I have been maintaining my weight for the last couple of months but am focusing on toning and shaping my body now rather than watching the scales.
Lose Baby Weight- 26kg loss

This month I have packed the scales away so I could concentrate my focus on meeting fitness goals. The last 5kg are always the hardest to lose.
To help combat getting rid of those last 5kg I have really focused on upping my fitness routine. This month I have been committed to doing a minimum of 40 minutes exercise for 6 days per week.
Like all mums I struggle with the guilt of trying to find my own time to exercise without my daughter.

I struggle with the thought that i’m being selfish and that I should be spending all my available time with her. I feel guilty that she is in daycare from 6am 4 days a week and when I get home then I should spend that time with her.
Its taken me Months to feel ok enough to know that i’m not being selfish by spending 1 hour to myself for a workout.
So this past week I have started attending pole dancing classes. There’s no way I would have attended such a class before I had lost those 26kg!
Lose Baby weight has given back my confidence to try new things. Just 1 hour of me time allows me to improve my mood, decrease my anxiety and stress levels but also allows me to be my own self.
I can be claire not mum, not wife but claire. This is so important to me as I have struggled with a sense of lost identity after becoming a mum.
I have also attended our communities parkruns for the past 2 weeks in a row.
I now LOVE running and love that I start my Saturday morning off at 7am with a 5km run.
Starting my day off ensures I have a great start to my day but also my weekend.
What are you doing just for you???

Erin says: “I love the 28 day challenge! It takes all the guess work of “what do i have for dinner” and fumbling around the fridge looking for ingredients before deciding on something “easy” (and usually not healthy!) The best thing is, after doing my weekly shop once the shopping list comes out I have everything I need to make something HEALTHY AND EASY!”
