Hi,  My name is Kellie and I am one of your July Winter Warrior Motivating Mums.  I’m so excited to help and inspire you all this month.

I am a 33 year old Mum to 4 gorgeous kids who are 11, 10, 7 and 5 and I run a Cake Decorating Business from home.  July Motivating Mum Kellie

I have been a bigger person my whole life.  I struggled all through school feeling embarrassed and self-conscious and had absolutely no confidence. It only got worse when I had my kids and put on more weight.

I was diagnosed with post natal depression after my second and fourth children were born.  I was sad and un-motivated and I put on more and more weight.  I also had high blood pressure and was very unhealthy and unhappy.

10 months ago my sister introduced me to The Healthy Mummy Facebook Group. I had already lost some weight but it was not in a healthy way and I still felt horrible and down.  I ordered the Healthy Mummy Smoothie straight away, and joined the 28 day weight loss challenge soon after.

I was absolutely amazed at the variety of food they had in the challenge.

I love my sweet treats and seeing that you could have biscuits, cakes and desserts on a healthy eating program surprised and excited me.

I have been Lactose Intolerant since my teens and recently discovered that I’m also Gluten Intolerant which normally means missing out on so many foods, but the smoothie recipes and the 28-day weight loss Challenges are so adaptable that I don’t feel I miss out on anything.

In 10 months I have lost 17.5kg (with 2.5kg-3.5kg to go) and lots of centimetres. Not only am I feeling better physically, but emotionally and mentally too.

I am fitter, healthier and lighter than I’ve ever been and I’m now a confident and happy Mum and Wife. I no longer hide myself away in embarrassment, but instead go out and enjoy time with my Family.

I am Matron of Honour for My Sister in September and honestly can’t wait to put on the beautiful dress and have family photos done. I’m finally at a place where I am starting to love and appreciate my body and what it has done for my children and I.

Instead of looking at the things I still want to change, I try to focus on the difference from when I started.

The Healthy Mummy has helped me achieve dreams I never thought would come true and I’m not even finished yet! I’m planning on making sure this stays my healthiest, happiest Winter yet.
