Today we have this DELICIOUS recipe for you to try, Chia Choc Chip Pancakes and a BIG Thank You to Niki Wohling for submitting her recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Wholemeal SR flour (or plain is fine) (130g)
- 1 cup Skim milk (250g) I use slightly less to make a thicker mixture
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tb Natvia (12g)
- 1 Tb Chia Seeds (9g)
- 1 ts Vanilla Essence (5g)
- 1/4 cup Dark choc chips (50g)
Method
- Heat up a frying pan on high and spray with cooking oil.
- Combine flour, milk, egg, chia seeds, Natvia and vanilla essence in a bowl and mix with a fork.
- Place mixture on frying pan using a tablespoon as a measure and drop choc chips on top as desired.
- When mixture starts to bubble flip over and remove once cooked. Don’t leave the side with the choc chips on too long as the chocolate might start to burn.
- Place on plate and enjoy 🙂
Makes 24 serves (1 pancake per serve)
