Weight Loss Smoothie of the Week Recipe Winner

We have had so many amazing healthy eating and tasty weight loss smoothies recipes sent in this week as part of our smoothie of the week competition and it was very hard to pick a winner! You can see more tasty smoothie recipes here too

But this week the winner is Amanda Evans who created this amazing recipe using Pomegranete and we love it!

Pomegranates are a super food that are full of antioxidants!  They have so many health benefits, so I thought I would use it in a smoothie. I am studying naturopathy and learning lots.

Such health benefits from pomegranates are:

  • helps to lowers blood pressure
  • helps to reduces inflammation
  • has the ability to fight cancer
  • helps to lowers cholesterol
  • can help to prevent heart disease

Pomegranate Delight

  • 1/4 fresh pomegranate seeds
  • 1 passionfruit
  • 5 cherries
  • 1/2 banana
  • a dash of honey
  • 1 tbs organic oats
  • 2 tbs Healthy Mummy Strawberry
  • 100 mls POM juice (found in the fridge section of the supermarket) POM Wonderful 100% pomegranate juice
  • 150 mls milk of your choice (I used Oat milk)
Place it all in a blender and enjoy!! (You could even add ginger to this as well – tastes delightful)
