Hi I’m Helen and I’m one of your Motivating Mums this month. I have been on my road to a healthy lifestyle for nearly a year now, and in that time I have lost 35 kgs and 98 cm off my body.
I love that The Healthy Mummy 28 day Weight Loss Program is so easy to do, and without it I’m afraid I could have failed.The amount of support you get from the Healthy Mummy Community is amazing. It’s definitely not an easy road losing weight, and we all have our bad days, but they make us stronger.
This part of the year is the hardest for me, because this is when my life fell apart nearly a year ago and I became a single mum to a 1 yr and 3yr (at the time).
This also gave me my biggest motivation. I didn’t want to be unhappy any more, because I had to be there for my kids.
I picked myself up and started off walking and eating healthy. Just by doing that I lost 7 kg in the first week, because my diet wasn’t great and I didn’t exercise.
Ladies, if I can do this you can too. Please don’t give up if you have a bad day, just start fresh the next day.
May has been a good but tough month for me as I lost my aunty suddenly and that took a big toll on me. I didn’t make good food choices some days or go to the gym which is big for me, because I was an emotional wreck.
But I got back on track slowly, one meal at a time. This time I knew that food prep would be the key, so I spent most of the Sunday I had free to make snacks.
This meant I could just grab and go, because that is where I fail most of the time, going the easy option with the kids.
I really struggle coming up with new meals so the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge is fantastic, with new exciting meals each week that I can choose from to suit my family.
I always recommend this program to everyone because it’s that amazing.
