I am a 27 year old mum to two children aged 5 and 3 years old who are both diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
My weight loss journey begun about 9 months after I had my now 3 year old.  At this point I was at the heaviest I have ever been at 70kg.
I had severe anaemia, post natal depression and other related health issues. It was also at this time that my eldest had been diagnosed with autism. I felt hopeless.
I then discovered Lose Baby Weight plans. It was truly so motivating seeing all the other ladies that had lost weight and found good health so I decided to jump onto the website and check everything out.

By April the following year I had managed to lose 10kg and was sitting steadily at 60kg.  It was also at this point that I decided I wanted to join a gym just to give myself a bit of variety in my workouts and also some ‘me’ time. I started working out a few days a week incorporating weights and a new found passion of running, all while still following the Lose Baby Weight plans.
To date I am now sitting at a healthy 53kg. My health both physically and mentally and my fitness are the best they have ever been. My iron levels are healthy, my depression is very minimal and in the words of my doctor ‘I’m a picture of great health’.
My future aspirations include completing some long distance endurance running events, continuing my path of healthy eating and regular exercise and I’m signed up to complete the January 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge
