When we decided to create the Healthy Mummy Range one of the biggest driving factors was that was no true healthy eating meal replacement option on the market that had been created exclusively for mums.
Yes, there were HEAPS of other diet shake products than claim to help you lose weight fast and some of the main reasons there can be negativity around these diet shake products is that a) they advocate very low calorie intake b) have a high sugar content c) have weight loss accelerants and chemicals, d) taste bad, e) have bad side effects and f) if you are breastfeeding they are not safe.
So we really wanted to create a product that was natural, free of chemicals, low in sugar, high in fibre, high in protein, free from dairy and gluten, tasty, had extra health ingredients in like flaxseed, pumpkin seed and fenugreek and was safe if you were a mum who was breastfeeding and were looking for a breastfeeding safe diet. Plus we wanted to create a product that could be done in conjunction with a traditional healthy eating diet and plan – such as our 28 Day Diet & Exercise Plan.
So after 12 months of product development, research, testing and consultation with institutions such as the Monash University and a member of the Board of Dieticians The Healthy Mummy product was created and launched and you can read more about the product development here.
Since The Healthy Mummy launched it has been a HUGE success with thousands of mums losing their pregnancy weight on the product and with over 9/10 mums recommending to their friends (based on a survey with over 1,000 mums who are using the range).
