“I struggled for 7 months to breastfeed Matilda. The last couple of months were really trying and the stress of it all made me give up sooner than I had planned.
It’s funny how we get these ideas in our heads as Mums that we have somehow failed if we don’t do what ‘they’ say is the right thing at the right time.  It is so stupid.

If your baby is alive and happy at the end of the day you’ve done a bloody amazing job and should feel nothing but pride no matter how you got there.

I started the Healthy Mummy smoothies when Charlotte was about 14 months and managed to get to 18 months before she weaned.  Before discovering the HM smoothies I ate heaps of lactation cookies. Heaps. I am almost positive that they contributed to the excess weight gain. I liked them a lot!

This time around my supply is the best it has ever been. Margot is ‘thriving’ according to my MCHN. To people who don’t have to worry about political correctness she is a beautiful chubby bubby!
