My name is Joanne and I am 38 years old and have a four-and-a-half-year-old boy, and a nine-month old baby girl.
I was very fit and healthy before I had Sam, and weighed 64kg – but while I was pregnant with him I saw it as an opportunity to eat constantly, believing that the weight would just come off with breastfeeding.
I put on 20kg with him, and sadly the breastfeeding didn’t work the way I hoped it might.
I could never shift the extra kilos I’d put on, and weighed in around 70kg constantly.
Over the past few months, Delight Smallridge has been sending in her fantastic progress on her weight loss since she has been on the Lose Baby Weight plans and has been inspiring thousands of other mums on our website, Facebook page and weight loss plans too as her results have been so incredible!
You can see Delight’s past weight loss progress and results here
But today, Delight has sent in her current up to date results and she has now reached her pre pregnancy weight – which is an amazing result! You can see the result below and the email that she sent in with her photo – well done!!
It can be easy to eat a relatively unhealthy diet whilst you’re tired, busy, sleep deprived as it’s easy to reach for pre-packaged snack foods when you’re exhausted.
Therefore, it’s a very good idea to have plenty of healthy snack ideas on hand so that you can take in enough calories and have lots of energy and to help boost your metabolism in between meals and to aid a healthy weight loss when trying to lose pregnancy weight or when following the lose baby weight plans
Emma Jakku has sent us this great recipe for a Healthy Mummy Smoothie.
‘I’ve recently started using your Healthy Mummy Smoothies and I’m enjoying experimenting with different versions of the smoothies.
I’ve lost 3kg already too.
I thought I’d share this smoothie recipe that I came up with this morning.
It is inspired by Annabel Karmel’s BOMB muffins, which my 2 year old daughter loves.’
A great way to save money and eat well at the same time is to include soup as one of your weekly meals.
Soups are filling, nutritious and can make the most of fresh seasonal vegetables (or those that are on sale!).
As the weather cools down, we often bring out a few old favourites like this one for our weekly meal planner.
Kids love this soup too as the vegetables give a nice sweet flavour.
Hi my name is Nicole Daniels and just wanted to share my weight loss story so far.
I have always struggled with my weight nearly my whole life.
I had lost weight before, and then in 2010 I had my beautiful daughter and gained 30 kilos.
I lost a bit but was never happy with my size. Then in 2012 I had a gorgeous son and gained 20 kilos.
After the birth I lost a bit of weight but then started to put weight on.
I needed to do something then I came across Lose Baby Weight.
There are some groceries that I like to have in my pantry at all times.
When they aren’t there, I can feel a little bit of panic set in.
These three little beauties are always on my shopping list as they are healthy, versatile and super nutritious.
They are also waistline friendly AND wallet friendly which is always a good thing.

I am a mum of 4 Beautiful girls One is my step daughter who lives in NZ So we have a 1 yr old, an almost 3 yr old and a 8 year old my step daughter is 8 too
When I was younger I struggled with my weight although looking back now I had nothing to worry about, but I always felt chunky, I think it was due to having bigger boobs than all of my friends. After I had my first daughter and after I separated from her dad I got to a place that I was super happy with my body, fast forward 1yr or so to 2008 and I got married I felt awesome and strong.
We fell pregnant with our first child in 2009 I didn’t put on much weight and kept exercising throughout the pregnancy and lost any weight I put on not long after she was born, fast forward 6 months and my Hubby was diagnosed with cancer stage 2 in his lymph nodes in his stomach recurring from testicle cancer 4 years before, the bottom of my world fell out.
Hubby endured 5 months approx of chemo, which was 5 full days at the hospital a week it was horrible watching him go through chemo, it was so hard trying to keep on going day to day, taking miss 5 to school and then taking miss 6 months to the hospital then after hubby had finished for the day miss 5 went to a very good friends and I took miss 6 months to work with me for as long as shed last then would head home and sort dinner.
Thank you Misty Wilson for sending in what feels like a dessert-for-breakfast recipe!
