I want to thank you for creating such a wonderful, nutritious product and creating The Healthy Mummy range!
After the birth of our daughter Tilly I took it easy and didn’t worry too much about losing the weight.
I eventually lost the baby weight over 6-8 months but was still over weight so I went on a crash diet and lost another 6kg, going down to 76.5kgs.
It was such a tough diet and I felt tired and hungry all of the time. I should of known better than to go on a radical diet but I had my sisters wedding coming up and needed to get into a bridesmaids dress.
Then I fell pregnant with our son Alex and re-gained all of the weight I had lost and more, as you do when you start eating ‘normally’ after being on a crash diet!
For some reason I felt so self conscious after my son was born and really wanted to lose the weight as soon as possible. I saw a friend of mine had liked the Lose Baby Weight page on Facebook so I had a look at the website and it sounded fantastic so I decided to give it a go.
The kind where indoor activities are the go, and a quiet night in (is there any other kind once kids arrive?) is on the cards.
If you’ve been working hard all week, squeezing in exercise where you can and focusing on healthy eating and your weight loss plan, there’s a good chance you deserve a little bit of pampering.
Trying to fit in (and afford!) a session at the salon isn’t always the easiest thing to do though, and on busy weekends, even popping into Priceline gets pushed to the bottom of the pile.
A bit about me……
I’m mum to one gorgeous and extremely energetic almost 4 year old son, and my beautiful 5 month old daughter.
I put on 10kgs with my first, lost it pretty much within a few weeks, but put back on another 7kgs due to being so hungry while breastfeeding.
When my son was 12 months old I stopped breastfeeding, embarked on a health and fitness kick and lost 8kgs!!
I also completed 3 fun runs which was massive for me, who has never ever been an exerciser let alone a runner!! When my baby boy was 2, and just a couple of weeks before our wedding we lost our second baby :’(
I struggled for a long time to get over this loss, it felt like no one understood my pain. And the comments like “at least you weren’t far along”, “at least you can get pregnant again”, “it wasn’t meant to be” etc, etc didn’t help either. I became paranoid of exercise.
I didn’t want to chance losing another pregnancy, so when I finally did become pregnant again I was already about 6kgs over my ideal weight, and I avoided exercise and suffered from back pain and extreme lack of energy.
Hi Lose Baby Weight, I just wanted to send you a before and after… today I finally reached my pre-baby weight which means I lost the 20kg I put on during my pregnancy.
I also wanted to share, that I was so happy I found your Lose Baby Weight products as there is nothing else on the market that is gluten and dairy free (which my son is allergic too).
It makes eating healthy not only easy, but perfect for breastfeeding my son.
Not only have I lost my weight steadily over 8 months with ease, but my milk supply also increased. I’m happy to report that we are still going strong with our breastfeeding and my little man is almost 9 months old.
This is probably due in equal parts to my lose baby weight eating plan (corn makes a fantastic salad filler) and the fact it’s often on special when I hit the supermarket.
I’m not entirely sure why I need quite so many cans, but it does come in useful when you’ve got the bare minimum of ingredients and need to whip up something quick, healthy and family friendly.
It is only natural that you want to hold your baby in your arms from the moment they come out to greet the world and there are many opinions on the benefits of co sleeping. However, if you don’t want to co-sleep with your baby, you can choose to let your baby sleep in a cot or a Moses bed next to your bed.
This also helps build the baby’s independence and awareness of sleeping and waking times.
Christmas is just around the corner, bringing with it the endless parties, family catch ups and beach holidays that make the festive season so wonderful.
This time of year can be a tricky one to navigate though, especially when trying to lose weight or follow a healthy eating or weight loss plan.

I’m Shae I’m 30 year old a mum of 4 children – 7 year old, 5 year old, 2.5 year old & 7mths.
I never had to struggle with weight before I fell pregnant, I was 45kg at 22 years old & too skinny, but I was obsessed with weight, very unhealthy.
When I fell pregnant I gained a whopping 50kg, I was 95kg on the scales when I was in hospital, such a low point in my life, when I was also experiencing one of the best days of my life, my 1st daughter.
Since then I’ve fluctuated, stayed around the 83kg-89kg except in pregnancy I’d get to 95kg again.

When I felll pregnant the second time I recieved some scary news that have made the last 3 years quite stressful for us. I had a pap smear when I had just found out I was pregnant, assuming like all my other pap smears it would return normal results, however when I was 4 weeks pregnant my doctor rang to tell me that some cancerous cells were found on my cervix.
