After reading the Lose Baby Weight website and seeing that I could still breastfeed my then 3 month old while using their healthy mummy smoothies, I decided I needed to try it and everything about it lived up! The products, healthy mummy smoothies and 28 day diet & exercise plan has transformed me and I could not be happier or prouder. And my milk supply has increased dramatically.
While I was pregnant with my new addition, now 6 months old, I told the doctor I was not happy, just before giving birth I was weighing 122kg (BMI 39.8)! Was I ever going to find myself again? I felt like all this weight was literally suffocating me and making me sad. I avoided photos because I did not like the way I looked. At my 6 week post birth check-up, we discussed my weight again, I was 109kgs (BMI 35.6), 3kgs heavier than when I got pregnant with number 3.

Elna Rosiana has sent in this terrific recipe which is high in protein and low in fat.
Elna says ‘I have it for breakfast and it fills me up way until past lunch time.
I call this my Super Charged Smoothie as the banana is high in potassium, walnuts are high in good fats, and the wheat biscuit is high in fibre.’

If you feel like a rich, indulgent dessert you have to try this recipe.
The pudding has a thick mousse-like consistency and is filled with healthy fats from the coconut and avocado, and sweetened with natural honey and dates.
You might find it hard to believe that this dessert isn’t bad for you.
Dates are a great way to add sweetness to a dessert. Their syrupy flavours taste like rich, gooey caramel (minus all the fat!).
Avocado lends itself to recipes like this. The creamy flesh gives the pudding its mousse-like smoothness.
Coconut milk is great in place of cream as it contains good-for-you fats that can keep you full and satisfied.
Try to find cacao if you can (most health food shops have it), or you can use any good quality (unsweetened) cocoa powder.

Whether you are working full time, part time, sometimes, or all the time – being in an office may not always be an ideal environment for weight loss.
Offices tend to have many rituals surrounding food and drinks, which can be hard to politely decline without feeling like a party pooper.
So what’s a girl to do? Take a look at some of the most common scenarios, all of which have some tried and tested options for sticking to your weight loss goals.

Last week
Last week I would say I stuck to my 28 day diet and exercise meal plan and made good food choices about 95% of the time. There were a couple of occasions where plans changes at the last minute and I was stuck outside the house with no food for lunch etc but I tried to make good choices on those occasions.

The GREAT thing about the Healthy Mummy Smoothie is that they are so quick and easy to make and that they taste great.
But as well as that by adding a few simple ingredients, you can have fun experimenting with the flavours of your smoothies – and one of our favourites is making a Chocolate & Mint Smoothie and Teresa Dickinson sent in her version of a choc mint smoothie today and it looks DELISH too!

Walking is one of the most basic forms of exercise that there is. Everyone knows how to do it, and apart from a comfortable pair of running shoes or sports shoes, no special equipment is required.
Walking can be done at any time of day and in any location. There is no cost associated with walking, and you don’t have to have an instructor or go to any sort of class. Walking can be incorporated into any lifestyle and is a great way to lose weight and all over fat – including stomach fat (and if you want to see more specific and detailed advice on stomach fat click here).

For a bit of a Mediterranean flavour why not try our delicious stuffed tomatoes.
These pair well with lamb chops, grilled chicken breast, or even steamed fish.
You can tailor this dish any way you like by adding your favourite dried or fresh herbs, a bit of feta cheese or perhaps some roasted capsicums.
