Each week we are lucky enough to have mums all over the country send in their delicious weight loss smoothie recipes using The Healthy Mummy smoothie mix and we are just loving all the new flavours coming in and the creativity shown by mums who are on our Lose Baby Weight plans.
Below are a couple of yummy ones that caught our eye that have been sent in this week – stay tuned next week to see if one of them wins the smoothie recipe of the week and $100 Myer voucher. You can see lots of other past entries for recipes here

Carrot & Pear Smoothie (thanks to Meredith Wade)
  • 2 tablespoons of the healthy mummy vanilla smoothie mix
  • 200 ml of skim milk
  • 5 ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon of rolled oats
  • I carrot chopped with skin on
  • 1/2 pear

Blend away! Was very yummy & refreshing
 
 

Tropical Storm (thanks to Mel Norris)
  • 200mL Almond milk
  • 3Tbs canned passionfruit pulp
  • 1 pineapple rings
  • 1/4 mango
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 Tbs natural yoghurt
  • 5-6 ice cubes
  • 2Tbs Vanilla Healthy Mummy Smoothie mix

Whiz up and bring on summer!

Soon to be summer (thanks to Ashleigh Loxley)
  • 2 Tblsp strawberry yummy mummy mix (you could use vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup of frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 small passion fruit or about 1 to 2 tsp of passion fruit pulp
  • 1 Tblsp of bulla mango frozen yogurt ( I use the small individual ones you can buy and use about half of it for each smoothie)
  • 200mls of the milk of your choice i use skim milk

* note i also add water to this mix as it is a little thick to start off with and the amount of water you put in is up to you and your tastes.
