New Retail Contract Position

We have a new position that we are currently recruiting for on the Lose Baby Weight & Healthy Mummy Team.

It is a very specific role and is currently a contract/temporary role which may develop into more should this project go well.  Please see the applications details below:

Role: Retail Sales Project Manager
Duration: 1-3 months
Start date: April/May 2013

Job description: We are looking for an experienced person in the retail wholesale sector and new product acquisition field to join our successful brand which currently retails via online.
Online sales have been incredibly successful for our brand and we now wish to consider retail sales in store. But given our product is in the weight loss arena it requires a lot of work as weight loss shelf space in store is very competitive and as such we wish to bring someone on board on a freelance contract basis to work with the various retail channels to pitch having our range stocked in store for Summer 2013.

Experience: The ideal candidate will have experience in the retail and or health and weight loss buying/purchasing sector. Retail refers to grocery, chain stores, pharmacy, health food stores and independent stores and the candidate will have experience of the review and decision making process of approving new product lines to go instore as well as the financial terms and obstacles to overcome for a new brand. The candidate could also have relevant contacts within the industry to begin the retail discussion.
Location: Can be based anywhere but ideally a metro location. Travel will be likely for meetings with various retail buyers. Any flights, travel and costs will be paid for.
