I’m a married mother of two, work part-time and am always busy.  Lose Baby Weight 28 Day Challenge has been the perfect weight loss program to fit in with my busy life!
Being overweight my entire adult life, never had I thought I’d get down to a weight and body size that I would be happy with, let alone being able to do that without starving myself or working out for hours every day.
ResultsI’ve been having FUN on my Lose Baby Weight weight loss journey!  Sure, I’ve had some bad days, lazy weeks, made poor food choices, and generally felt blah.. but I’ve managed to get myself up, dust off my self-pity and excuses, and get back on the Lose Baby Weight train!
I owe my success to the Lose Baby Weight 28 Day Challenges being so family friendly and flexible, the Healthy Mummy smoothies for being so versatile and delicious, and the Healthy Mummy and Lose Baby Weight Support Group on Facebook being so positive and supportive.
And to top it off, I stopped putting so much pressure on myself to be perfect.  I stopped keeping up with the Jones’.  I stopped pushing myself to the point of exhaustion with exercise.  I stopped starving myself of all yummy, “naughty” food.  I’ve started having fun!
The recipes in the 28 Day Challenge meal plans are fantastic, and my family has really enjoyed trying new things too!
I rely on the meal plan customising tool to change my plan around to suit my needs and preferences – I ensure the “husband friendly” recipes are earlier in the week, as hubby cooks dinners on my work days.
I have Healthy Mummy smoothies each day for breakfast; hubby and Miss 5 get a favourite dinner each week; I ensure I have work-friendly lunches (usually dinner leftovers, soups, or something requiring minimal effort); and try to use up ingredients I have leftover from the previous week.
I involve my daughter in my baking days – she loves helping to make Lose Baby Weight muffins and biscuits, almost as much as she loves eating them!
I try to come up with new smoothie concoctions at least once a week – I am loving pomegranate and dragonfruit at the moment, so have come up with a few smoothie combinations using these fruit.
I also have fun with my exercise.  What’s the point in doing something I don’t enjoy?
I LOVE the Healthy Mummy Post-pregnancy Exercise DVD and it always amazes me how much I sweat in just half an hour – the kids also love to watch or join in with me, and we share lots of giggles!
I attend a local boxing bootcamp once a week (I try to go twice a week, when time permits) which runs for 90min and is the BEST workout I get all week – my arm and shoulder muscles have developed great definition just from weekly effort – and I have fun with my friend while I’m at it.
While I might be sore and tired afterwards, I actually enjoy myself, so always end up with a smile on my face.
I am loving the 28 Day Challenge pilates exercises, as I love working that part of my body, and feel so good afterwards (albeit sore!).
I also try to fit in other fun activities with my kids: dancing, skipping, running around together, and jumping on the trampoline.  The possibilities are endless!
I also love having friends and family notice my efforts, which is the most enjoyable part for me lately, as I see people I’ve not seen since last year.
Being able to buy new, smaller clothing is also a huge mood lifter – never did I think I’d be sporting size 10-12 pants and size S tops!
It certainly takes a while to get out of the habit of grabbing those larger size clothing.  I’m healthier.  I’m fitter.  I’m happier.  I’m so glad I found Lose Baby Weight!
