Hi again Mamma’s!!!! I am one of your motivating mums for July and I have lost 20kg* with Lose Baby Weight.
I started my week strong and pumped. Monday was great got to head down to the beach with the kids and my aunty. My little guy just wanted to sit on the rug on the beach while my aunty took my 9 yo for a walk to collect shells.

I sat there for about 5 mins and realised I should be making the most of the beach. I got myself up popped the little guy on my back and walked down the beach and back and made up a song to sing with him.
That walk made me feel great afterwards. Tuesday and Wednesday were good exercise and food wise too I pushed through even though the last couple of nights id had long nights with my little guy teething.
Thursday Friday Saturday as the dreaded sickness that always comes with teething had him even clingier than usual.
So exercise did not get done but tried to stick to my eating which I did 90%.
Even though I had all my meals planned with the challenge which definitely made dinner time easier that tiredness binge craving crept up and got the better of me, my weakness nutella sandwich.
Instead of having more nutella I managed to make the gooey banana choc chip cake to go to instead.  So glad I did as it was definitely more satisfying and hey we’re all only human and cave sometimes but we have to remember that there’s a better alternative to just hiding and eating that in my case nutella sandwich.

So to the point of this motivating mum telling you her story about her not so great first week to the challenge is that it’s OK to not be able to fit in all the exercises everyday if you or your children are sick.
There’s always tomorrow or when everyone is well again to put in that extra effort. For these not so great weeks I think it a great idea to refocus on eating well and looking after our bodies and families.
Tomorrow I will be dropping my 9yo to school and rugging up my little guy who is now thankfully on the mend and going for my walk.
And I will be doing this walk every day this week and I WILL be doing the challenge exercises.
Be kind to yourselves when you or your little ones are sick.
Make the most of every day whether it be piggy backing your little one down the beach or purely focussing on your food. It all counts!!
