Today we have Teresa’s fourth post and we are so happy to hear she is feeling very motivated and has now lost 5kg!

‘This week my mood has really improved; I credit that to the exercise I have been doing and the healthy eating from the 28 day plan.
Exercise wise I achieved goals this week of trying yoga and Pilates classes for the first time.
I found them both very challenging, especially because the basis of these exercises is core strength and mine is rather weak at the moment.
I can see how these classes will compliment my other training from the 28 day plan.
I have even gifted myself a Pilates kit for Mother’s Day (usually I would have chosen the chocolates).
This week I have been trying my best to do the monthly squat challenge which was started by some of my other mummy friends from the Facebook page that are also trying to lose their baby weight.
I surprised myself today by being able to do 150 in a row.
Tonight my daughter asked to make biscuits so we decided to try the Chocolate Chip Chickpea Protein Cookie Recipe for a healthier alternative. They were a great success.
protein ballsI also finally made Nutty Quinoa Protein Balls from the 28 day plan. These are my new favourite treat. I was very excited about how good they tasted.
What I love most about this plan is that it is realistic in terms of the fact that we all like something sweet occasionally. By giving me a healthier alternative I do not feel like I am missing out, so I find it easier to stick to the plan.
My favourite meal this week from the 28 day plan would have to be the Thai Chicken Salad. Especially the dressing, which I now use frequently on salads and anything else I can put it on.
Also for the first time in years I tried salmon this week and enjoyed it so I’m very pleased to have found a fish that I like to eat.
My favourite Healthy Mummy Smoothie this week was Chocolate Mint Smoothie. I was very surprised that I actually really enjoyed the flavour from the mint leaves as I was skeptical about adding them.

This week my weight has gone from 71.4 to 70.5 kg’s and now I have lost 5kg over 4 weeks. I have been very happy with this loss and am very determined to be in the 60’s by the end of next week.

My measurements have not changed a lot this week compared to other weeks so I won’t post them this week. However next week I will post up my start and finish measurements side by side for easy comparison.
I do not know if I have mentioned it before but my hubby works away and is only home every other weekend. So I figure if I can do this plan with two kids and hubby away anyone can – and you will feel so much better for it.
I have found the motivational emails I receive from Lose Baby Weight to be very informative and interesting to read. My favourite ones this week being about how to get rid of cellulite and how many calories you can burn whilst doing household chores.
I have found the website great too, you can pretty much ask about anything and they always get back to you so you feel very well supported.
For my final week of the 28 day plan I’m really challenging myself to stick to the food plan and the exercise plan, as well as my extra gym workouts and the squat challenge etc.
I will be going back over my goals I set out for myself at the start. I think it is important to have some kind of reward system in place to keep yourself motivated so that you feel rewarded for all your hard work.
When I reach my goal of being under 70kgs for the first time in a few years I will be getting some sort of pampering done. Then, when I get to my goal weight of 59kgs I will be getting myself some new outfits that I feel good wearing.’
