My Weight Loss Update – by Leanne Chippendale

“Wow, what a month! I’ve been using the Healthy Mummy Smoothies for four weeks.
In that time I’ve had a kids birthday party, 4 Christmas parties, a Boxing day BBQ and a wedding.
Friends and family asked why bother starting a “diet” right before Christmas, why not just wait until the New Year – you know what I told them? I just said, “why not? Christmas doesn’t have to be an excuse to stuff yourself silly, at least starting this now will keep me in check”.
Now the question is, did it work? It surely did. Hey, I wasn’t an angel, I did consume a fair bit of chocolate on Christmas and Boxing Day, but other than that, the month helped me cement some good habits and make good choices.
The best part about starting the Healthy Mummy smoothies when I did was my ability to consume large quantities of food was diminished. I now find myself not able to eat the volume of food I could before – even if I think I want to.
The smoothies have really helped with my portion control. That paired with consciously making healthy snack choices, I’ve been able to lose 4kgs in four weeks during the most festive time of the year!
I’m looking forward to seeing how January’s progress is now.”
